Emotion Focused Therapy

Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) is based on John Bowlby’s Attachment Theory, where our early childhood bonding with our primary caregiver is considered as crucial for all our future close relationships. EFT aims to help clients (individuals and couples) grow their understanding of vulnerable emotions and learn to express them in a safe environment. This further helps them to better regulate their emotions and cope well when facing relationship challenges.
